At Stacon, we design, develop, manufacture and deliver reliable control systems at competitive prices. Recently, we were given the opportunity to provide services to the system integration solutions industry. We were contracted to design and develop a remote terminal unit used to collect and process station data for transmission by the central control station at the main plant.

Our design, based on specifications and a 2D CAD Drawing supplied by the customer, utilized 304 stainless steel cabinet with 120V, 1PH, and 3 wires. The unit featured a programmable logic controller, surge protection for inputs and outputs, redundant power supplies, a radio transmitter, multilayer terminal blocks, and an air vent with a fan. The unit measured 36" high x 30" wide x 10" deep, we completed the control panel within 3 weeks and performed our inspection and testing processes prior to shipment of the final unit.
